How Do You Respond to the Glorious God? Worship Devotional

Song of the Day

“Glorious” by Brian & Katie Torwalt

Devotional thought

The Bible tells us to sing songs that declare the majesty and glory of our God (Ps 66:2)! Well, that is what I love so much about today’s song of the day, Glorious. It does that so well!

According to the truths declared in this song, God is glorious, worthy, holy, loving, and the One that breaks the chains that are trying to hold us in bondage! This is exactly why our response is one of praise!

Hope, peace, joy, and freedom are the direct results of having an accurate view of God. When we see Him in the ways in which He so gloriously revealed Himself throughout history, it inspires us to join together with all of creation to offer our personal praises to Him!

Does your soul cry out in response to the Lord’s holiness? What is your response to the God of all glory? Oh, I pray that it is worshipful, awe-filled, reverential, and that your soul magnifies the God who saved you! Bless Him even now with you adoration. Go ahead, He is listening child of God!

Prayer

Oh Lord, glorious in all Your ways. I magnify You Lord. You are worthy of my praises and I present them to You even now. Bless Your name, Your holiness, Your loving-kindness, Your glory, Your joy, Your peace, Your hope, Your salvation Lord! My soul blesses and delights in who You are and all that You have done for me and the entire world! In Jesus’ name, amen.
