A tithe literally means a tenth. When we tithe we are giving back to God part of what He has already given to us. It is an act of faith, love, and obedience. God tells us to test Him in this area and see if we can outgive Him (Malachi 3:10).

The truth is that God is the giver of all life and all that is good. A Christ follower who cheerfully gives will be blessed (2 Corinthians 9:6-).
