This Website is birthed out of my desire to produce Biblically based, devotional material based on the Worship Songs we sing in our Churches.
Why the title, Worshipeyes.com ? Because I want us to discover how to SEE everything in life as an opportunity to WORSHIP GOD!
Worshipeyes.com is primarily for the person who loves to worship through song and who appreciates being able to connect those songs to the Bible. Also, for those who want to learn how to apply the messages found in Worship songs to their everyday lives!
Reading these devotionals will help our times of worship become more energized and produce a more encounter-rich environment of praise. This happens as we learn to connect the songs we sing to the Scriptures!
I love to make that connection, and I pray you will too!
What Can You Expect from this Website?
Regular Christian devotionals posted weekly. These Devotionals coincide with the songs we are singing the upcoming Sunday at Eagleville Bible Church (the Church that I have the privilege of being a Worship Pastor for!).
There will be an embedded Youtube video for you to sing along with called the “Song of the Day”. I will also include Scripture references that are relevant for the “Song of the Day”. And this convenient popup tool makes it super easy to read those Scriptures (e.g., John 3:16).
There is a Devotional Thought, Personal Connection, Questions for reflection, Action Steps, Scriptures to Reflect on, and a Closing Prayer that goes along with the “song/Scriptures for that day “Song of the Day”. Check out the latest posts here!
For those of you who cannot spend the time reading it but can listen, I will embed an audio recording of me reading the Devotional for you. Just click play and reflect while you do whatever you need to do (a nice feature for those of you who like to do your devotions while driving to work).

About Me
My name is Mark Hostetler. I am husband to the most beautiful woman in the world and a father to three wonderful boys! And….I recently became a Grandpa!! Whoop Whoop.
My joy in life is spending time with my wife and children doing just about anything as long as it’s together with them! We love vacationing (our favorite spot is the Outer Banks), hiking, fishing, music, reading, and visiting with family and friends. I have a love for writing, music, golf, and just an overall passion to help people.
My passion is my faith in Jesus Christ and I love to help people unpack the mysteries of the Bible.
Here is my life verse is Colossians 2:2 and it says,
““My goal is that their hearts, having been knit together in love, may be encouraged, and that they may have all the riches that assurance brings in their understanding of the knowledge of the mystery of God, namely, Christ”.
A Bit About My Work History
I became a full-time Pastor at Eagleville Bible Church in May of 2019 after working part-time for the Church since January of 2017. The Lord called me into the ministry after driving a log truck for 5 years (actually, I sensed the calling way back in 2008 but needed to wait on the Lord to bring it about).
I worked 3 days aa week in the truck and 3 days a week at the Church for a little over 2 years. I have worked in many different types of jobs like; concrete (10 years), Office assistant, masonry, logging industry, Driving Semi trucks, and now Clergy. But, in everything I do I seek to do it to the Glory of God!
