The Simplest Messages are the Most Powerful! Worship Devotional

Song of the Day

“God Really Loves Us” by David Crowder feat. Dante Bowe

Devotional thought

“Yes, Jesus Loves Me!” is a song that most are very familiar with. When I sing this old song at the local Nursing Home, I can count on everyone engaging with it! It is such a powerful example of how the simplest messages are the ones that stay with us forever.

Well, I love what David Crowder and Dante Bowe have done with the new song we are introducing at Eagleville Bible Church! They captured the essence of putting a simple message in a song that will stick in the mind and heart of those that hear it for a long time.

“Hallelujah, God really loves us!” is the opening line to the chorus of this song, and I absolutely love it! So catchy, so true, so profound and yet so simple.

Has that message become dull in your heart? That message of the ages that reminds us that there is a God that assures us that we are not alone and that He loves us! Oh how I pray that this message still excites you, inspires your faith, and compels your worship of the God who really loves us!

“What a Father, what a Friend, What a Savior He is!” I know that to be true in my life, how about you?

Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father. Thank You for the simple message of Your love for us. Praise You for assuring us that we are not alone because You are with us! I love You Lord and want to keep that simple message on my heart always! Please help me Holy Spirit to do so. In Jesus’ Name. Amen
