Devotional thought

Whatever trials you are facing right now, I want you to believe God for the solution. I want you to call upon Him and trust Him for the results as you worship Him! Create a rhythm of worship in your life that helps you to communicate your need to Him regularly, and to release your anxieties through song and prayer! Form a habit where time in the Word of God is a daily occurrence, in order to store up those promises found within its pages, especially for you! The stories that you see in the Bible are examples of God’s faithfulness throughout history to His children, and I want you to know that He is looking for the person who by faith is crying out to Him to do it again in their unique situation! God desires to bless your life! Believe Him for it!

There are times that I say something similar to that of a father desperate to see God’s intervention in his son’s life, “Lord, I believe, but help my unbelief!” (see Mark 9:24). I don’t feel like there is anything more I can do to make myself believe more! I trust, I seek, I plead, and still the solution seems to illusive to me. This is where faith needs to take place, believing in the unseen at work in what I can see!

Daniel needed intervention too, and as soon as he asked, the Lord sent out the angel Michael to help. The problem was that Michael came up against opposition for 21 days, and Daniel was left wondering and afraid (I know I can relate to that at times). When he thought he was left alone, there was a battle happening in the heavens for his protection and deliverance (see Daniel 10:11-13)! Believe for IT!! God is battling for you and His victory is sure! Hallelujah.

Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father, I am so grateful for You in my life! I am so desiring to see You at work, and I believe that You are able to intervene into all of my specific needs. I trust You Lord, and I too say, “Please help my unbelief”. Forgive me for doubting Your ability to deliver me from my trials. I choose to believe You now for all of my needs Lord! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
