Look to Christ for Sacrifice and Leadership! Worship Devotional

Have you allowed Him to have the Leadership/Lordship role in your life?
What is the evidence of that?

Have you worshiped Jesus Christ today for being that sacrificial Lamb for you to atone for your sins?
Will you now?

How Can I Trust that God is Working if I Don’t See Or Feel Him? Worship Devotional

God is always at work! We may not see Him, feel Him, or see the immediate answers to our prayers, but our limited sight doesn’t automatically confirm God’s inactivity! Faith requires that we continue to pursue our God for that thing that we are longing for, right?

Worship Devotional: Can We Grasp the Holiness of God?

The basic sense of the word “holy” is “set apart from that which is commonplace, special, unique, and I believe that it is so important for God to have this “holy”, special place in our hearts as we follow Him. We must learn to fear Him and understand the true nature of God before we can accurately see ourselves! There is absolutely no one that “deserves” an audience with the perfect and Holy King of the universe. We are all unclean as Isaiah realized, and unworthy of God’s attention and compassion, but that does not stop God from responding to us in kindness and love!

Worship Devotional: The Global Impact of the Gospel!

We have been commissioned by God Himself to carry this message to the world, to make sure that we are making disciples and influencing our “world” for the Lord! His glory rises up in us, it shines upon us as we proclaim the message to others of how Jesus Christ was sent into this world to bring salvation and hope to the helpless. There will be testing, even to the point of death to some, but the Church of Christ must persevere and endure through persecution and trials in order to spread this message with the hopes that some will believe and be saved!

Worship Devo: What Are You Believing God For?

There are times that I say something similar to that of a father desperate to see God’s intervention in his son’s life, “Lord, I believe, but help my unbelief!” (see Mark 9:24). I don’t feel like there is anything more I can do to make myself believe more! I trust, I seek, I plead, and still the solution seems to illusive to me. This is where faith needs to take place, believing in the unseen at work in what I can see!

Worship Devo: Do You Have the Faith to Follow God Wherever He Leads You?

There are times in our lives when we will have to get out of the “boat” and trust the Lord. Starting a new job, showing love to our spouse when they don’t deserve it, following the steps to sobriety when it will result in us losing so-called friends, signing up to serve in a ministry that we feel inadequate to be in, etc. These are just some of the ways we need to keep our eyes on Jesus and trust in Him, even as we see the effects of the “wind” around us that seems to be fighting against our progress. We have to stay focused, stand firm in our faith, and call upon our God to increase our faith as we follow Him!

Worship Devo: Why Do We Sing, Hosanna?

The reason we sing Hosanna today is because we acknowledge the Lord Jesus Christ as the Savior of the world, and we cry out to Him from dependent hearts that want to see Him revive our land forever! We are thirsty for God’s presence to wipe away the fears, sins, chaos, etc., from our hearts, and to see Him establish His rule and reign on this earth now and forevermore! We sing to Jesus, the Hosanna of our lives, the One mighty to Save us, the One making us new, because He is worthy of all our praises!

Worship Devo: Do You Want to see Your Giants Fall?

Call upon the name of the Lord and ask Him to do what seems like an impossibility to you! There is no greater name, no higher name, no stronger name than Jesus – so call on Him now for that giant in your life to be destroyed!

Worship Devo: Learning to Bless the Name of the Lord in All Things!

I know that we all face various seasons in our lives, some better and some worse, but I really believe that worshiping through the seasonal changes keeps us centered on the things that really matter and provides hope for us when we are hopeless! Hebrews 12:2 tells us to keep our eyes fixed upon Jesus, and the more we can do that by Blessing His Name regardless of our situations will be the level to which we will have stability in our lives.

Worship Devo: Are We Being Pursued by God’s Goodness?

verything you have in you! God is absolutely pursuing a personal relationship with all of us, and it is my prayer that you have joined me in accepting that invitation to experience His goodness for the rest of my days!
