Seeing everything in life as an opportunity to worship God!
So, what’s the deal with the blood? Why do we celebrate the fact that Jesus shed His blood for us? Well, to answer that we must understand the Old Covenant system for attaining forgiveness.

Although it is just our fallen human nature to resort to faithlessness, we must overcome this tendency and begin trusting in God’s everlasting faithfulness toward us if we ever want to live victoriously in this life! God is not going anywhere. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever! That means that the same comfort we received from Him when we needed it before is there for us today, and will always be available to us! Let’s not doubt that for a second!
God is with us now! We no longer are slaves to anything aside from righteousness. He truly has dispersed the gloomy clouds of night and removed the affects of death’s dark shadow over us. He delivered us from all of these fears and set us up to receive light and life in His name!
Rejoice, Rejoice! Emmanuel has come!
The Advent, or arrival, of Peace truly became accessible to humanity when Jesus arrived in this world! He is our peace!
Peace is equivalent to wholeness, oneness, rest, and stillness. It is interesting to think about the word peace in that way, because for me when I think of peace I usually think of it in terms of the absence of war, or chaos. Well, although that is true, it goes far beyond the absence of something by giving us the presence of something else instead – wholeness!
Jesus came into this world full of grace and truth. In Him we find the fulfillment of the righteous requirements of the law. We are now under a new covenant of grace because of the perfect sacrifice He made on the cross. The penalty for our sins were laid upon Him, and now when we come to Him by faith His righteousness gets imputed (deposited) into our spiritual account!
What can wash away our sins, nothing but the blood of Jesus Christ! No other sacrifice will suffice! God is pleased and accepts that as the only way to become clean before Him, no other attempt to find complete forgiveness will do.
– How often do you return to the cross in your mind, reflecting upon the exchange that took place on it for you?
– Does the cross communicate love to you?
– Have you praised God for giving you a place to go to for the forgiveness of your sins and for the hope of a new life in Christ?
– Will you now?
Have you allowed Him to have the Leadership/Lordship role in your life?
What is the evidence of that?
Have you worshiped Jesus Christ today for being that sacrificial Lamb for you to atone for your sins?
Will you now?
God is always at work! We may not see Him, feel Him, or see the immediate answers to our prayers, but our limited sight doesn’t automatically confirm God’s inactivity! Faith requires that we continue to pursue our God for that thing that we are longing for, right?
Communion is a spirit of fellowship with the Lord Jesus Christ at all times! We do not have to wait till the first of the month (or whenever your church holds a special Communion service) to partake in Communion. We can, and should, be having a Communion service in our spirit at all times for what God did by sending us the Messiah to forgive us and provide for us everlasting life.
