Have you forgotten how marvelous it is to be loved by the Savior? Well, if so, I am glad that you will be reminded of this wonderful truth in today’s song!
This old Hymn is full of the Truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and that is why I love to sing it so much! To hear the Church recite these truths as we declare them together through song is an amazing blessing to me.
Do you still stand amazed that Jesus Christ could love a sinner like yourself? Does it still bring a response of worship to your heart as you remember how the Lord took your sins and sorrows and made them His very own? How about when you remember that by Christ’s sacrificial act of love you and I are going to be with the ransomed in glory beholding the face of our wonderful Savior forever?
It truly is going to be our greatest joy to sing of His love forever! When we see the revelation of that love fulfilled in Heaven one day! We do not, however, have to wait till that day we stand on the golden streets of our forever home to begin joyfully singing of that love! We can, and should, be doing that each day we are here on this earth!
See, the world around us is looking for this sort of love too. And I believe it is through our jubilance and worship of the Savior’s love that they will be compelled to ask how they can receive the same for themselves. Our witness is confirmed to others of a loving Savior when we cannot contain the joy and praise we have in our hearts and radiate His glory to them!
So, come on and sing of His love even now! Rehearse this wonderful message even now to yourself and your family! How marvelous is your Savior’s love for you? Declare it!
Prayer
Oh my marvelous Savior! I praise Your name forever for loving me and giving Yourself for me to have eternal life and forgiveness through You! It is my joy to sing of Your love, and I want others to hear of this glorious good news too. Please help me to be an effective witness to Your matchless love to others around me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
