Reverence, awe, and worship is the result of the revelation of God’s glory. And I know that right now our culture needs to revisit the necessity of restored worship and reverence before the Holy God of the Universe!
That is what today’s devotional is all about!

The God of the Bible is one who is Glorious, full of splendor, and holy! He is revealed in many ways, but I believe the one that captures His essence more than any other is – Glorious! So, what is glorious?
The word “glory” means (in part) “weight”, and if we use this idea to understand what we are saying when we cry out to the Lord for His Glory (weight) to be revealed it makes a little more sense. For God’s glory to be among us, according to this definition, would then mean to feel a substantial, tangible weightiness of His presence and power with us!
When we offer our hearts in worship to the Lord for His work of redemption, we are then Glorifying Him in the highest form! Worshipful and devoted hearts from mankind is the supreme expression of glory to God. This is the highest form of glory from us to Him. Although God does not need our worship to be glorified, He does absolutely desire it!
