Seeing everything in life as an opportunity to worship God!
Do you seek a fresh work of God in your life? Are you constantly seeking God to change your heart and make it clean? How about for Him to open up your eyes to the things unseen? To show you how to love like He loves us?
So, I know it is tempting to try and find hope in earthly things, or earthly relationships, but let’s resist that temptation and seek to find our hope in Jesus today! The things the world offers is temporal at best, but the everlasting love of Christ and the power of His resurrection provides an eternal sense of hope that will never fade! His Name is everlasting, and an ever present help in all of our troubles, so that means that hope is everlasting and ever-present too.
To wait on God is to have a hopeful expectation of His intervention and deliverance for you. The Hebrew word means to “expect something, to look for, to wait on”… that thing we are eagerly looking to God for. So, when we read in Ps 27:14 to wait upon the Lord, we are literally being commanded to rely on Him, to trust that He will show up for us when we need Him to be there!
It is our God that broke the chains of sin in our lives. My King came and rescued me! I sing my praises to the God who provided a complete solution to my helpless situation! His love fills my heart now. In Him I find my refuge, and joy is the result of looking to Him for all of these things!
Our King Jesus lives! The tomb is empty! And we are His forever! He hears us, sees us, and knows us! We believe that anything we ask according to His will is ours in Christ (1 John 5:14)! We have been given every spiritual blessing in Christ, and we will believe that we are living under the shadow of the Almighty’s protective wing! Child of God, BELIEVE IT!
I simply cannot imagine a world without the light of Christ in it. Yes, there is so much darkness in our world today, but if you removed all of the light and influence that Jesus brings to this world, it is absolutely terrifying what would be remaining (if anything at all!). Thank the Lord for all of the blessings He does bestow on this world, even though in so many ways we reject Him. He truly is a gracious God, slow to anger and abounding in love!
He came to “Save us all from Satan’s power when we were gone astray”! The bible tells us that we all like sheep have gone astray, and Jesus is the Good Shepherd that came to restore us to the Father again. God, the Son, truly is the hope for all mankind and has been born to give us all life! I pray that you are experiencing that hope and life, and that your life is not lived in a constant state of distress.
Living Hope is something that never dies! When we receive Jesus as our Savior He provides something that no one can live without – Hope! A confident trust in God’s ability to completely save us and provide us all that we need to live a godly and productive life in His name! Jesus does that for us when we become Born Again into the life He gives us! I don’t know about you, but I am ready for that hope each minute of the day!
Hope is an indispensable virtue to have in this life! There are so many that are living without hope for tomorrow, let alone for eternity. I feel so sorry for people who do not feel hopeful, because hope is available in Jesus! He is our living hope!
God is the one who turns our shame into His glory, ashes into beauty, graves into gardens! When we come to Jesus in faith, we die to ourselves and allow Him to work in us. As a result, He produces a great garden of restoration in the life that has died to itself and transformed to live for the glory of God!
