When I encountered the love of God, it awakened me to the reality of my sinful ways, my lifelessness, and my hopelessness without Him. His love compelled my desire for change, and when I invited Him to be my Lord that is exactly what happened – CHANGE!
If you are having trouble finding joy and peace in your life, instead of overly focusing on those things maybe all you need is to refresh yourself in the God who gives us a Living Hope in His Son, through the power of His Spirit!
Jesus left His place of Glory, Heaven, and came to this Earth to fulfill the Father’s plan of redemption. The Earth was full of sin and darkness, and there was nothing that mankind was able to do on its own to produce light. We need a Savior, we needed light to overcome the darkness!
Our faith needs to remain strongly rooted in Him and what He can do in us. We get tempted to think that we are hopeless, helpless, worthless, and so many other negative images of ourselves in this world. But, we must reject these lies and embrace the reality of the Gospel at work in us!
