Hebrews tells us to keep our eyes fixed upon Jesus, and to the level that we can do that, regardless of our situations, will be to the level that we will experience stability in our lives. Our worship needs to remain constant throughout the storms, throughout the pain, throughout everything we endure, because it reminds us that God is good and faithful no matter what we are going through.
The storms of life will come and go, but in the midst of those turbulent times we should never make the decision to move off of the only constant thing we have – our God’s reliability! We have to choose to stand on His promises to be with us and to provide our help in times of trouble. He is the God of comfort and gives us grace to persevere through the most difficult times when we rely upon Him.
Our enemies, or battles we fight, should not determine the level of praise we give to God! Our praise and faith needs to be unwavering. We need to be decidedly committed to raising our hallelujah to the One True God at all times because He is worthy of them no matter what our current circumstances! Elijah wasn’t afraid of what the people thought of him offering up his praises and prayers to the Lord with confidence! He knew God seen Him and was true!
This thing that happened in Bethlehem is happening in hearts all around the world! People are responding to the invitation to have peace with God through a Divine experience with the Christ who dwells in the realm of glory forever! Have you?
Worship the God of our salvation today, thanking Him for giving us the Christ for our peace!
– Do you ever look for ways to freely express your gratitude for God for saving you and revealing the Light of the world to you?
– Are you confident that you will truly fly away to meet the Lord in the air when He returns?
– Have you forgotten how it felt when you seen the Light for the first time?
– Will you remind yourself even now of your testimony?
– Are you grateful that you are part of God’s royal family, chosen by God?
– Would you say that your life is characterized by joy and godliness?
– If not, what needs to change, and are you willing to repent today?
– Have you had an encounter with the Lord God Almighty?
– Would other people know that you had that encounter? How?
– Have you celebrated God’s work in your life lately through praising Him?
If not, will you do that right now?
