Seeing everything in life as an opportunity to worship God!
– Are you grateful that you are part of God’s royal family, chosen by God?
– Would you say that your life is characterized by joy and godliness?
– If not, what needs to change, and are you willing to repent today?
– Are you currently believing any lies about yourself, or God?
– Do you fear death and allow that fear to keep you in a state of spiritual paralysis?
– Will you praise the Lord right now for overcoming death forever and giving you eternal life in His name?
– Do you have a humble enough spirit to admit weakness to the Lord and to embrace His gracious correction?
– Is His grace sufficient enough for you to be secure in your salvation, or do you feel that you have to try to add to His complete work of salvation?
– Have you praised the Lord today for being faithful to you? Will you now?
– In our song of the day, Come Lord Jesus (Even So Come), as we sing the lyrics we are actually engaging in a prayer for Christ’s return! Does that intimidate you, or can you join with the saints of old with a sincere cry for the Lord’s return and to establish His rule and reign on this earth?
– Are you prepared in your own heart to meet Jesus if He returns today?
– Does the reality of Jesus’ return help motivate you to tell others about the wonderful love of God in Christ Jesus? Will you tell someone of this Gospel today?
– IS there a situation that is requiring you to be still and wait right now? Have you invited the Lord Jesus into that situation?
– Have you had an encounter with the Lord God Almighty?
– Would other people know that you had that encounter? How?
– Have you celebrated God’s work in your life lately through praising Him?
If not, will you do that right now?
Have you allowed Him to have the Leadership/Lordship role in your life?
What is the evidence of that?
Have you worshiped Jesus Christ today for being that sacrificial Lamb for you to atone for your sins?
Will you now?
Are you experiencing freedom in your life?
Is there anything that you may need to repent from today in order to embrace the freedom purchased for you on the Cross?
Have you worshiped God today for making you free in Christ?
God is always at work! We may not see Him, feel Him, or see the immediate answers to our prayers, but our limited sight doesn’t automatically confirm God’s inactivity! Faith requires that we continue to pursue our God for that thing that we are longing for, right?
I don’t know if you are in that “dry” place right now, a place where you don’t have much more to give. Are you exhausted, maybe you have received a diagnosis that you weren’t prepared for, maybe you are having marital issues that can’t seem to be resolved, the list goes on and on and on! But I do know the One that you can call on which will be your help in a time of need, His name is Jesus Christ.
We need to join into the age old celebration of God at work in the lives of human beings! All throughout the Bible we can see God intervening into people’s situations and delivering them/us! We see an entire book of the Bible dedicated to remembering and informing our worship of these things, the Psalms! God is at work today just the same as He was back then, and I want to celebrate that work through joyful shouts of praise! How about you?
